The firm is registered and licensed by the Ministry of Labour, Gender and Social Development in Uganda, License No. E24080030.
It was established primarily to engage in the business of labour recruitment for both the internal and export markets, as well as manpower outsourcing consultancy. The firm was founded with a strong desire to contribute to the development of the Ugandan community—mainly through securing employment opportunities for youth both at home and abroad—and to contribute to the global labour market by supplying overseas firms with qualified human resources for their sustained growth. ALMAHTTA has had an active footprint since 2020.
The agency also aims to contribute to the national development goal by exporting labour, thereby bringing in foreign exchange while uplifting the socio-economic status of both individuals and the nation as a whole. Furthermore, it seeks to leverage Uganda’s competitively priced, resourceful, and abundant youth labour by connecting them with foreign individuals and firms, thereby enhancing their productivity, profitability, and competitiveness.
In light of the rampant and dehumanizing scenes of illegal immigrants perishing in the Mediterranean Sea—and Ugandans being caught, deported, or imprisoned during illegal migration attempts to Europe, the Middle East, or Asia—ALMAHTTA RECRUITMENT AGENCY LTD positions itself as a structured and legal avenue for labour export. The agency strives to curb these tragedies by offering an organized alternative that renders illegal migration unnecessary.
